We have a 6 month old pedigree staffy called Hogan (pictures in the picture part lol). During his usual walks in the park an experienced breeder of english bull terrior told us that he has very small testicles which may affect his growing. he is a big dog but has not started to grow any serious muscle yet. We found this strange as he has the biggest paws on a staff i have ever seen.
So i came to seek advice to find out if he is going to develope at a slower rate.

Whilst walking Hogan yesterday Matthew and myself heard barking from across the river and seen some girls on horses trying to prise the dog over. I asked if it was their dog they said no and that they though it may have been ours. We stood there for about 1/2hour trying to prise him over the water you could see where he had been going upto it wanting to go over but was too scared. When he got over we put him on Hogans lead and gave him a treat.

We then took him home with it being sunday we ...

Hello =]

When we first got Hogan we were feeding him on James Wellbeloved which was approved by the vets, however he was passing wind an awful lot and it got a bit too much and we decided to change his food to see if that made an impact on the wind passing.

Now we feed him on Arden grange, its fab! He doesnt pass wind as much and his poops are much better and a lot more solid i would advise it to anyone getting a puppy!

Obviously different foods will affect different dogs in different ...

As Dudley has had a lot of trouble with joints I've started giving him a supplement. Has anyone got any experience with these? Getting information from the vet is very hard as they just want to sell me theirs and looking at the ingredients on the ones on the shelf its really difficult to see what you are buying. Unlike human versions they dont show the levels of glucosamine etc so you cant compare brands, like for like. They are a very expensive addition to his diet when you dont know what you ...

Might be something or nothing but......When Milo is sat down, i notice his front and/or back legs sometimes shake, like fast twitching kind of thing.....is this normal? Or something i should be checking out. If i squeeze his leg that is twitching, it stops. strange....

Hello, my dog has had 3 operations on his back legs and I now need to build the muscles in his back legs up again. Does anyone have any ideas? I've got him into swimming but I really think he needs to be doing more strength work.
